Church History

1 Corinthians 3:6 Apostle Paul says, "I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who makes things grow."

Sydney Pentecostal Worship Centre (SPWC) formerly known as Sydney Bethel Church (SBC) is a bilingual Malayalam and English Church located earlier in Padstow now at 1 Newport Street Pemulwuy 2145, NSW (This location is just 5 Kms away from Wenthworthville Railway Station). We are a Bible believing Malayalam Pentecostal Church, worshipping God in Spirit and in truth. We find church as an instrument to proclaim THE GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ to the lost world. Evangelization of the lost world and Edification of its members are the main purposes of the church.

Sydney Pentecostal Worship centre is pioneered by Pastor Thomas George, Melbourne in one of the church members' residence in Bankstown, Sydney with a couple of members. It has a humble beginning in the year 2005. Since then, God’s hand is building the church in the midst of powers of this dark world and devil’s schemes. In September 2007, Pastor Abraham George took over the charge of the church and is being ministering with the grace and strength God provides.
